SKI HELMET BOLLE ATMOS MIPS BH14800 BLACK MATTE
Description
Bolle Atmos MIPS is a modern ski helmet that will convince many skiers. The helmet is made using AVID Progressive EPS technology and has adjustable ventilation. A unique ventilation system with eight ventilation channels ensures unprecedented airflow, making the helmet extremely breathable. The helmet has a built-in MIPS protection system, which takes into account the fact that falls most often occur at different angles. In such a case, MIPS technology creates a sliding layer between the outer part of the helmet and the head. As a result, the rotational force is greatly reduced and the consequences of a fall are less severe. The Click-to-Fit system ensures precise adjustment to the shape of the head, and the helmet also has a removable and washable inner lining and removable 3D ear pads.

A detailed description
MIPS -Multi-Directional Impact Protection System is a technology that reduces rotational forces that occur during a fall or head impact. In the event of an impact to the helmet, the hard outer shell acts first. Then the inner foam shell compresses, which presses against the MIPS layer. Since the friction between the two layers is very low, the shell does not compress against the head, but slides slightly in the direction of the impact. This movement is enough to drastically reduce the force and thus the consequences of a head impact.
The Click-To-Fit system allows for easy, quick and precise adjustment of the helmet's fit. The rubberized adjustment wheel allows you to tighten or loosen the helmet effortlessly, even when wearing gloves.
AVID Progressive EPS provides maximum breathability while providing high protection. The system combines high-density EPS to effectively absorb higher-impact impacts and low-density EPS to provide superior performance in less severe impacts. Bolle helmets with AVID technology use a combination of different EPS densities and optimized ventilation channels to practically reduce density in the upper part of the helmet. The result is a lighter, more breathable helmet with progressive impact cushioning that will absorb a wider range of impacts.
