Style, aesthetics, innovation. Alpina ALTO QV is a new ski helmet with a visor, intended for demanding skiers and those who are just entering the world of pleasure on white slopes. The newly designed TRM visor switching mechanism sets completely new standards in terms of comfort. The switch mechanism allows the visor to fit more tightly and automatically to the face, thus providing complete face protection against wind and snow. The visor uses the well-known Alpina QuattroVarioMirror ski goggle technology. Due to the Hard Shell technology, the helmet offers greater safety than conventional ski helmets, comfortable use (Lavalan lining) with a unique Airstream control ventilation system. Run System allows you to set the size federally by fastening Fidlock. The helmet has removable ear flaps and an additional neck warmer. Helmet storage bag included.

Features of the visor:
– Jet vision: the integrated visor offers a larger field of vision than classic ski goggles.
– TRM: toggle mechanism for the visor.
– Quattroflex: A polarizing filter that filters light and lets only the rays of direct light sources through. It prevents glare and reflection, the contrast is enhanced, which provides the user with better visibility in scattered (diffuse) light. Especially in the snow, the mentioned function is extremely important.
– Varioflex: The photochromic coating enables automatic dimming of the visor according to the intensity of UV rays, so this visor is suitable for all weather conditions.
– Mirror: Up to 16 layers of coating are applied to the lens, which protects against IR radiation. This filter is highly recommended for alpine skiing.
– Termoblock: technology of two lenses separated by air between them. A blockage of the external cold air with the internal warm air is created, which additionally prevents fogging on the inside of the lenses.
– Fog stop: coating on the inside of the lenses to protect the glasses from fogging.
– Protection: S2-3, 100% protection against UV-A, UV-B and UV-C rays up to 400nm.
Helmet features:
Hard shell: a combination of a hard ABS shell and an inner frame made of EPS material. HI-EPS filler offers greater shock absorption. Due to better protection, the helmet is also suitable for Freeride.
Run system: enables individual size adjustment with a rotary knob on the back of the head.
Airstream control: enables optimal ventilation. Air travels from the front through the inside of the helmet and exits at the back, preventing head sweating.
Removable Earpads: Removable earpads for spring skiing.
Lavalan: The inner lining is made of natural material Lavalan wool. Wool is warmer, regulates temperature, is anti-allergenic and prevents the formation of bacteria. It is removable and washable.
NeckWarmer: Extended inner lining made of Lavalan wool warms the nape of the neck.
Fidlock: the magnetic clip for fastening the helmet under the chin offers faster fastening.
Y-Clip: 3D tape adjustment system.
